Why i prefer ChalkI have an interest in Garffiti art.
Some of the pieces I've seen in Atlanta are absolutely beautiful.
There was a time I toyed with the idea of getting some spray paint and giving it a shot.
But I know,
It's never going to happen.
Granted, I love doing public art. I love going out with my chalk and painting the sidewalks. I love when I sit in a quiet place far from one of my drawings and see people step around them or stop to take pictures. It makes me happy to know that in some way I have brightened another person day even a little bit on this flying mudball we inhabit.
I once thought about being a Tagger but then I looked into it deeper.
I've watched several documentaries on Graffiti art. I've seen a plethora of interviews with well know taggers and their crews, footage of them doing what they do late at night. From seeing these artists in action and hearing their tales of their rise to fame/infamy I have concluded that I will never be one of them
